A little update.

Hello.

Well it is now only a mere 12 weeks or 81 days till we fly out. We are in the process of tying up loose ends and making sure everything is in order before we fly out.I only have 49 working days left and I know Adrian is counting down his time at work as well.

In the past few weeks though, we have had a couple of little adventures. Firstly we went to a place called Lightning Ridge. It is a strange and interesting place. You really feel like you're in outback Australia. It's very dusty, dry and quirky. There are little dirt mounds everywhere from the opal mines, most of the cars look like something out of the 70s and it kind of feels like a western movie.

The coolest part of Lightning Ridge however, was a place called The Chamber of The Black Hand. It was an old mine transformed into an incredible art gallery of sorts. It is a series of clever hand carvings, all done by one man. For more info check out their website - http://www.chambersoftheblackhand.com.au

As well as visiting Lightning Ridge, we also spent some time in the beautiful Camden Haven. One of the most beautiful areas on the Mid North Coast. Most of our time here was spent fishing with my dad and mum and hiking up the mountain. It truely was a relaxing couple of weeks. If you're ever in the vicinity, the Camden Haven and surrounds, is a must visit.

Until next time, where we will be coming to you with our experiences of Hawaii. 👫
